I've watched that, and read the book while I was laid of from the Big "V". Very inspiring.

I was thinking about you today. You should pick up the new Chickenfoot Cd. Sammy Hagar on vocals, Michael Anthony on Bass, the drummer from RH Chili Peppers and Joe Satriani. It is pretty damn good- I was surprised. Sounded like what I imagine VanHalen should sound like if they didn't have their heads in their asses, and focused on music.

I like to keep these on hand in the case of evil does or insurgents. Hell one needs to keep an eye peeled for pirates these days.

Yeah, even the guy on the beach didn't get a bump. Bummer. Never even tried to go this weekend -- we got back from the wedding reception too late to try on Saturday, and yesterday the weather stopped me from trying. DaveO was a little miffed at me, but there wasn't much I could do about that...

Apparently the same guy. In Athens he shot at the wrong target. Here he says the gun went off and he didn't think he was applying pressure to the trigger, but obviously, he was...

I think that all of the monkeys had a pretty good time while we were there - even though we didn't get to see Washington DC since they were building their structure in our dorm room :)

i need to find the time to edit and publish some of the video i have. lots of it does shake too. Perhaps I'll get a tripod one day.

Old Lilacs? One of my favorite plants. You are wise to cut them back as they do get big and dead inside. Too bad they don't last. the last of the local blooms are off. I supose my parents will see fresh ones in TC this weekend.

OTherwise, I guess we are all swamped. I will be more so as soon as we move.

Indeed...I was just discussing microbreweries with my "brew mentor" and his soon to be cousin-in-law.

You are lucky. We have some regional microbreweries, but not that many considering we have about 10 million people here. Certainly, someone else must be trying to make beer and share it with the masses.

Without research, There must be some kind of legal roadblocks to 1 off breweries here in Illinois. The majority of ours are chain varieties like RAM and Rock Bottom.

I'd love to add Brewpub to my list of ventures once I'm independently wealthy. So far I want to run a bikeshop too. And yes I can see synergies there. he he he

Unfortunately, my internet access is very limited (none at the hotel) so I will not be able to post details of yesterday, today, and tomorrow until I am home on Sunday. I will try to make good notes so I can detail it.

As for the trip overall, hopefully the client will end up happy (it is end of day Friday, and it still isn't clear how this will turn out ). It is a bit of a sticky situation so it has been interesting, to say the least.

True, that. In fact, that statement can be reduced to only those of us staying at Mom and Dad's (and I don't know that anyone was really that bad, we just were a little slow in the morning). We did all have fun though!
